D15: Loop 30, No. 4 depicts a loop of a block of houses within District 15, a region of Singapore where the artist grew up. Personally harvested GPS and light intensity data were then collected and fed into a generative circle packing algorithm created by Wan Kyn. The algorithm mapped the collected data to various visual parameters to develop visuals that represent the circular nature of the routes he took.
This artwork is part of a greater ongoing series called Path Project.
